When the liquid pressure reaches the air pressure, the Tulip pump reaches a point of balance and stalls without the need for bypasses or overload protection.Tulip Diaphragm Pumps pump can run dry indefinately and have the ability to self prime to 7 metres or more in some cases. They can handle viscosities up to 20000 Centipoise as standard and some Tulip models can handle cPs into the 100's of 1000's. The company is established in Apeldoorn and produces the complete range of pumps in its own establishment in the Czech Republic.
The range extends from 0.5 inch. to 3 inch. in Aluminium and Steel. In connections 0.5 inch and 1 inch in Polypropylene and Kynar.
Elastomers are deliverable in Neoprene, Buna-N, EPDM, Santoprene, Viton and Teflon. All pumps from 1 inch connection are deliverable with flange connections to Inlet and Discharge.
The pumps are notable by the robust construction and the fact that they are anti-stalling and oil free. All models are provide with bolt connections and not clamp band.
